The short film “A Hora” released in december 2016 is based on the remarkable text of Portuguese poet and writer Fernando Pessoa titled “A Hora do Diabo” (“The hour of the Devil”) and stands a dialogue between a girl and a Devil central.
Like no other Pessoa puts down a spirited introspective and ironic devil persona from which his magic words act as a meditation on good and evil. Starting from this idea an original cartoon was created by Katja Louisa Stonewood and co- director Jan Steenhoudt.
This unique interpretation, in which a demonic entity influences on a young woman, appears as a clever film noir like short film beautifully worn by the rich narration of Portuguese actor, director and Pessoa scholar André Gago .
